Marsh Private Client Services specializes in the protection of large assets. Luxury yachts, among the largest and most complex of these assets, are exposed to a multitude of risks. Our clients are the owners of many of the world's largest motor and sailing yachts, cruising throughout the world. With our extraordinary wealth of knowledge and global resources, our mega-yacht practice -- located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Southampton, England -- is in a unique position to deliver complete, customized coverage solutions for the specific requirements of each owner and yacht.

The first step in designing a luxury yacht program is a comprehensive review, starting with a meeting that includes the owner, captain, manager and other key players. This strategic assessment delineates all of the owner's possible exposures, including a variety of property and assets associated with luxury yachting, such as aircraft, fine art and valuables, tenders, jet skis, and other water toys.

With the assessment completed, the program and limits of coverage are established in conjunction with another strategic team that includes the owner, maritime attorneys, surveyors, and other advisors.
