MARSH WEBCAST JANUARY 21 TO PROVIDE UPDATE ON STATE OF GLOBAL INSURANCE MARKETPLACE

Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, will hold a one-hour Webcast, Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. (EST), that will examine how the global commercial insurance market is weathering the worldwide economic crisis, including factors that might affect pricing, terms, and conditions for commercial coverages in 2009.
Marsh's Webcast, "The Global Insurance Marketplace in 2009," also will include a discussion of strategies for risk managers to enhance support of their firm's operational needs and objectives.
Brian Elowe, a managing director of Marsh's Global Risk Management division, will moderate the discussion, which will include an industry overview by Dr. Robert Hartwig, president, Insurance Information Institute, as well as a perspective on the outlook for reinsurance by Christopher Klein of Guy Carpenter.
