MARSH APPOINTS KEVIN SPARKS AS U.S. DOWNSTREAM LEADER OF GLOBAL ENERGY PRACTICE
Houston, December 16, 2008 — Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, has announced that Kevin Sparks has joined the firm as a managing director and U.S. downstream leader of the Global Energy Practice.
Mr. Sparks, who is based in the firm's Houston office, has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, including 23 years in insurance brokerage. For the past two decades, he has focused his efforts on clients in the downstream energy sector.
He joins Marsh from Willis Global Energy, where he worked extensively with downstream energy property and construction clients. He has an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
