Marsh Selected to Provide Insurance and Risk Services for 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing

NEW YORK, October 6, 2005 - Marsh, the world’s leading risk and insurance services firm, has been selected to provide insurance consulting and risk management services for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee chose Marsh following a highly competitive selection process that involved several insurance brokers.

Marsh will provide services for the Olympic Games in collaboration with China Sports Insurance Broker Co., Ltd.

Together, their work on behalf of the Beijing Olympic Games will include: risk identification and assessment; loss prevention and risk control planning and implementation; insurance plan design and implementation; claims management; contract management and analysis; contingency planning, and global project management.
