As a Marsh summer risk analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with client team members to offset clients' risk through customized solutions that increase revenue, enhance net income, and strengthen the bottom line. You will also have the opportunity to build upon your knowledge of Marsh, technical knowledge, and professional skills.
Internships are typically eight to ten weeks in duration.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Analyzing client data and compiling research results using databases and other computer systems;
- Maintaining billing control records and developing budgetary data;
- Participating in the analysis of clients' existing insurance programs and requirements by reviewing current policies and formulating recommendations for customized risk solutions; and
- Assisting team members with the development of underwriting specifications and preparation of proposal presentations for existing and prospective clients.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have unrestricted authorization to work for an employer in the United States;
- Progress towards a BA/BS degree with a 3.0 GPA out of 4.0;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands;
- Candidates must be prepared to discuss work location preferences during the on-campus/1st interview; and
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
