Risk Analyst Program

Our Risk Analyst (RA) program is a two-year program that is customized to prepare you for what lies ahead. The program is designed to help you:

  • Quickly accelerate your integration into Marsh;
  • Develop the skills needed to succeed during your first assignment and beyond;
  • Build a network of colleagues across our office locations that will grow throughout your career at Marsh; and
  • Strengthen your work relationship with your manager/direct supervisor.

The first year of the RA curriculum is a developmental program that integrates formal learning, on-the-job experiences, virtual networking, recommended books and performance support. Through the use of these tools, risk analysts will learn the technical information necessary to excel in the risk analyst role.

Each risk analyst will report to a manager who will clearly specify the risk analyst's role, scope of responsibility, available resources, performance goals, standards and expectated outcomes.

Mentorship is provided to each risk analyst through our Peer Mentor Program. This program is designed to increase each risk analyst's understanding of the Marsh organization, mission and value, as well as enhance and guide their overall career development.

In the second year, the risk analysts will participate in a formalized pairing with a top performing client executive, assist in the selection and scheduling of risk issue seminars as well as continue networking by being involved with outside insurance organizations and client-facing seminars.
