What kind of training program is offered?
We offer an intensive training program, which runs for approximately two years. You will have the opportunity to learn about the company and develop your financial, client presentation and sales skills. What is the typical career path?
There is not one defined career path at Marsh, and we view that as a positive trait. You will find that you can define your own career path, which could include the client executive or sales areas, or the consulting or client advising areas. Or you may choose to become a technical specialist in a particular practice group, or industry specialty. Each of these areas requires varying skills that will develop over time. We are a global organization with offices in 100 countries. Opportunities are available to work abroad. However, your introduction to Marsh Inc. will be through a domestic opportunity. What is a typical workday?
Your typical day with Marsh will depend on your position. As a risk analyst, you may be analyzing client data, researching industry trends, and creating and implementing customized risk solutions.
What is the interview process typically like?
Candidates are screened through a specially designed interview process. Prospective candidates are first invited to attend an information exchange, which is traditionally held prior to the On-Campus interview. Once the On-Campus interview is conducted and completed successfully, candidates are invited to a Marsh Inc. office location for further interviewing, where they also participate in a written exercise.
